COCC Charity bike ride and street party returns for 11th year – April 27, 2025

Champagne and Oysters Cycle Club Gears Up for 11th Annual Ride from Saint-Tropez to Monaco

The Champagne and Oysters Cycle Club (COCC) is once again rolling into action this April, hosting its celebrated charity ride from Saint-Tropez to Monaco on Sunday, April 27, followed by an unmissable street party to mark the occasion. Now in its 11th year, the event not only challenges cyclists to complete a grueling 140 km journey but also invites the public to join in a day of festivities for two important causes.

Cyclists will complete the 140 km bike ride and arrive at Slammers Bar at 4pm. The after race celebrations kick off from 2:00 PM in front of Slammers Pub in Monaco, where live music, a BBQ by Chilli No. 5, and plenty of drinks will keep the energy high well into the night. Tickets can be purchased at Slammers Bar for €35 on the day.

The ride raises vital funds for the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, dedicated to water safety and drowning prevention, and the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, which supports research into motor neuron disease. This year’s event is backed by sponsors Zondacrypto and Jake Productions, with hopes to surpass previous fundraising totals.

The COCC was established in 2011 by seven friends with a passion for cycling. The club has grown over the years, and the annual fundraising bike ride from St. Tropez to Monaco now attracts support from celebrities and international personalities. “Anyone who sees what the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation does should be willing to support,” said COCC co-founder Damian Crean.

“It’s more than just a ride — it’s about coming together for causes that change lives,” said one event organiser. “Whether you cycle, cheer, or simply celebrate, your support makes a real difference.”

Direct donations to the Princess Charlene Foundation and the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation are welcomed to help continue their impactful work.

With past editions including HSH Prince Albert II and international sports stars, the COCC ride and street party promise to deliver one of Monaco’s most dynamic and meaningful celebrations once again.
