78th Cannes Film Festival – Event 
The 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival returns May 13- 24, showcasing 22 films in competition for the prestigious Palme d’Or, including works by Wes Anderson, Julia Ducournau, and Jafar Panahi.

Highlights include an honorary Palme d’Or for Robert De Niro and premieres of major films like Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

Alongside the competition, the festival hosts world-class panels, networking events, and public beach screenings, continuing its legacy as the global epicenter of cinema.

Members of the public are welcome to join the beach screenings. The Cinéma de la Plage offers free, open-air film screenings each evening at 9:30 PM on Macé Beach, opposite the Majestic hotel.
