UN Ocean Conference Nice 2025 June 9-13, 2025,

From June 9-13, 2025, global leaders, businesses, scientists, and civil society will gather in Nice, France for the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3), co-hosted by France and Costa Rica.
🔹 Goal: Accelerate action to protect, restore, and sustainably manage the ocean.
🔹 Focus: Delivering an ambitious Nice Ocean Action Plan to achieve SDG14 – Life Below Water.
3 Key Priorities:
✅ Raising ambition in global ocean protection
✅ Mobilizing finance for SDG14 & the sustainable blue economy
✅ Strengthening ocean science for smarter policy-making
Each day will feature high-level commitments, cross-sector dialogues, and action-driven panels designed to turn pledges into real impact. 🌍💼
The so-called Blue Zone, reserved to governments and accredited organizations, will be installed in Port Lympia in downtown Nice. And the Green Zone will be located at The Whale (La Baleine).
The ocean is vital to life on Earth — climate regulation, food security, jobs, and biodiversity all depend on it. Now is the time for bold, collective action.
