DESCRIPTION:Over the last forty years\, the way we use the sea has changed radically. While fishing and sailing continue to dominate\, scientific and technological advances have paved the way for new marine activities\, in turn prompting vital changes to laws and ocean management policies. \nThe symposium\, with INDEMER as its starting point\, will bring together experts in a range of fields to discuss these developments\, combining the hard and soft sciences to look at how international law can adapt to new marine activities whilst tackling key contemporary issues.
