DESCRIPTION:Monaco is inviting you to become an “Explorer” this autumn at the third annual Nature Weekend\, offering a free\, behind-the-scenes look at the Mareterra district—the Principality’s new\, sustainable urban development. \nThe Urban Planning Department\, through its Gardens section\, is organizing for the third consecutive year the “Nature Weekend”\, on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October 2025\, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.\, in the heart of the new Mareterra district. \nThis year\, the theme of this event is “Explorer\,” and the public is invited to discover what goes on behind the scenes of the landscaping of Mareterra\, designed with a sustainable approach that respects biodiversity. \nThroughout the weekend\, the teams from the Urban Planning Department will be offering free workshops open to all\, for young and old:\n• Planting module layout game;\n• Eco-creative workshops: plant compositions\, repotting;\n• Discovery trail of the neighborhood and its plant arrangements. \nThese activities will allow visitors to better understand the location choices\, the selection of plant species\, as well as the environmental issues linked to this new district. \nPractical information\n• Dates: Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October 2025\n• Times: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.\n• Location: Mareterra – Principality of Monaco\n• Free entry
