DESCRIPTION:Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series (Act I) is held from Thursday 6 to Sunday 9 November 2025 in the Bay of Monaco. \nIn line with the YCM’s sailing policy\, having been initiated in the Melges 20 class in 2013 at the instigation of Valentin Zavadnikov\, then the J/70s\, the Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series is a monthly programme of regattas and training weekends for one-design boats from December to March. \n\n\n\n\n\nIt has proved a very successful format with more than 350 sailors coming from across Europe to set up their winter training base in the Principality to prepare for the upcoming season’s big meetings. \n\nAct I :6-9 November 2025\nAct II : 4-7 December 2025\nAct III : 12-15 February 2026 \nAct IV : 5-8  March 2026  Primo Cup – UBS Trophy

DESCRIPTION:The Monegasque Association for the Knowledge of the Arts (AMCA) will present its second conference on November 10th at the Théâtre des Variétés\, with the theme: “Christian Dior\, the Inspiration of Nature.” \nThe gardens of Granville were a formative place for Christian Dior\, where a sensitivity to nature took root\, a sensitivity that still permeates the world of the House of Dior today. \nChristian Dior\, the Inspiration of Nature\nBorn in Granville\, the “Monaco of the North” in the Manche region\, Christian Dior flourished as a child on the family estate. Built in the Anglo-Norman style\, it is surrounded by a garden that would forever mark him\, and whose design he helped to create alongside his mother\, Madeleine. This close connection with nature\, plants\, and flowers would influence him once he became a couturier\, creating in 1947 the “flower-woman” silhouette\, inseparable from the New Look. Both a refuge and a source of inspiration\, Christian Dior’s gardens are inseparable from his life and work.
