Today is a day for celebration in the Principality as we wish a very happy birthday to His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.

March 14th is a big day in the Principality as we honour a leader who is genuinely making the world a better place.
From competing in five Olympic games to becoming the first head of state to reach both the North and South Poles, Prince Albert has always been a man of action.
Known globally as ‘The Green Prince‘ for his work with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the environment setting the standard for the future.
He is also known as ‘The Explorer Prince‘ for his personal expeditions to both the North and South Poles.
‘Champion of the Oceans‘ for his work for our oceans and marine conservation.
‘The Olympian Prince‘ because he competed in five consecutive Winter Olympics (1988–2002) in the bobsleigh.
And, also ‘The Global Advocate‘, a term used on the international stage for his work in climate diplomacy and humanitarian aid.
It is also incredibly special to see how he keeps the spirit of his mother, Princess Grace, alive through his support of the arts and humanitarian causes. Whether he is at the Palace or on a global stage, he leads with a relatable, modern energy that inspires us all.
Wishing His Serene Highness a wonderful birthday and a great year ahead with Princess Charlene and their family.
