The High Seas Alliance is hiring a remote Implementation Support Officer (4 days/week at up to USD $600/day) to support implementation of the High Seas (BBNJ) Treaty globally.

We have a new, exciting opportunity to join the High Seas Alliance and help protect marine biodiversity on a global scale!

Work remotely (4 days/week) supporting HSA’s 70+ member organizations and stakeholders. You’ll develop policy positions on BBNJ implementation, coordinate working groups, build relationships with experts and policymakers, and ensure Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities are centered in the work.
What We’re Looking For
- Background in international relations, marine science, or international law
- Experience in multilateral processes and international negotiations
- Strong research and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across diverse teams
- Preferred: Knowledge of BBNJ, marine genetic resources, or conservation finance
