Monte-Carlo Fashion Week 2026 Awards

The Principality will host a new edition of the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week (MCFW) from April 14 to 18, 2026. Organized by the Chambre Monégasque de la Mode, the event once again intends to position Monaco as a crossroads for reflection on the contemporary challenges facing the textile industry.

“Monte-Carlo Fashion Week aims to be an essential meeting point for innovative and sustainable players in the fashion industry by bringing together creators, manufacturers, investors, and fashion enthusiasts,” declared Federica Nardoni Spinetta, president and founder of the MCFW and the Chambre Monégasque de la Mode, speaking to Monaco Tribune during the 2025 edition.

Honoring Visionary Leadership

This ambition is reinforced for the upcoming April 2026 edition. The highlight of the event will be the presentation of the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week Award 2026 to Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, Chief Strategy Officer of EssilorLuxottica and President of Ray-Ban.

“With this award, we celebrate those who transform an entrepreneurial vision into a concrete positive impact on society,” Spinetta stated in a recent press release.

A Commitment to Future Fashion

The award recognizes Del Vecchio’s contribution to integrating cutting-edge technology with social impact and environmental responsibility. For the 2026 edition, the MCFW continues to advocate for “green” designers and sustainable supply chains, moving beyond traditional runway shows to foster a global conversation on ethics in luxury.

The official awards ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2026, where Del Vecchio will be distinguished for his leadership in making accessibility and responsibility central to the world’s most iconic eyewear brand.
