Beast Philanthropy Saves South African Orphanage from Closure, Funds Rebuild of 12 Homes for Hundreds of Children

Beast Philanthropy traveled to Khayelitsha, South Africa, to support the Paballelo Children’s Home, founded 30 years ago by Mama Rosie, who has rescued over 5,330 children. [01:04]

The orphanage was facing an imminent shutdown threat from the health and safety department due to hazardous conditions, including roofing made of highly toxic asbestos. [01:47]

To prevent the closure and secure Mama Rosie’s legacy, Beast Philanthropy committed to:

  • Rebuilding 12 Homes over six months, ensuring they have electricity, toilets, and fresh running water. [02:56]
  • Subsidizing all costs of living, including staff wages and providing constant, healthy food for every child. [03:10]

The project was largely funded by a sponsor, Electric E-Bikes, which doubled its contribution to meet the final project cost. Beast Philanthropy continues to seek donations and merch purchases to provide long-term support for the orphanage. [03:52]

“Lectric eBikes sponsored this video to help rebuild the orphanage. Give them a visit here and show them some love for being amazing people. https://lectricebikes.com/
