Prince Albert II supports Team Monaco’s debut at E1 Electric Boat Championship in Jeddah

Prince Albert II traveled to Saudi Arabia to witness Team Monaco’s inaugural race at the 2026 E1 Series. A thrilling electric boat championship that’s attracting some of the world’s most prominent team owners and athletes, including NBA star LeBron James, NFL legend Tom Brady, and tennis champion Rafael Nadal.

Jeddah Championship standings

The 2026 E1 Series season which began on Friday January 23rd, was dominated by the Aoki Racing Team, who claimed victory in an intense final against defending champions Team Brady. Jamaican driver Sara Misir earned Driver of the Day honors for her commanding performance under pressure.

After round one, Aoki Racing leads the championship with 40 points, followed by Team Brady (33 points) and LeBron James’ Team AlUla (24 points).

Team Monaco’s strong start

In their first competitive outing, Team Monaco drivers Maxime Nocher and Oban Duncan finished ninth overall, securing five crucial points to begin their championship campaign. While not a podium finish, the result represents a solid foundation for the Monegasque team as they navigate what is becoming one of the most competitive new racing series in the world.

Championship standings & schedule

The E1 Series will continue its global tour with races scheduled for:

  • April 24-25: Lake Como, Italy
  • June 13-14: Dubrovnik, Croatia
  • July 17-18: Monaco

With five points on the board and the foundation laid, Team Monaco will seek to climb the standings when the championship resumes on Lake Como in April.
