Prince Albert II to host public celebration for 20th anniversary of reign

The Princely Palace announced that to mark the 20th anniversary of Prince Albert II’s reign, a reception would be held at his request on Saturday July 19th.

To commemorate 20 years since his accession to the throne, Prince Albert II of Monaco will host a public cocktail reception on Saturday, July 19, at the Place du Palais. Open exclusively to Monegasque citizens, the event will run from 7:00 to 10:30 p.m. and will see the Sovereign joined by Princess Charlène in the historic square of the Prince’s Palace.

Organised at the Prince’s request, the evening marks a symbolic gesture of gratitude and unity between the Princely family and the Monegasque community.

Since succeeding his father in April 2005, Prince Albert has spearheaded significant projects like the Mareterra land extension and the restoration of key cultural sites.
