France and Costa Rica will co-host the Third UN Ocean Conference (UNOC3) in Nice, France – from 9 to 13 June.
What’s open to the public?
As part of this global event, the European Commission is opening the European Digital Ocean Pavilion in the UNOC3 “Green Zone”, located at the Palais des Expositions – will be open to the public from 2 to 13 June 2025.
This initiative is led by the Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS), in partnership with the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE), the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD), and the Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA), and implemented by Mercator Ocean International,
The Pavilion will offer visitors an immersive, interactive experience of the EU Digital Twin of the Ocean and the Copernicus Marine Service. It will showcase the European Union’s leadership in ocean governance and action for a sustainable blue future.
